Goodbye to one of my favorites

I got a notice in the mail this weekend that Cottage Living will no longer be published. I'm crushed.

I love that magazine and the aesthetic it celebrates. If any style of decor was suited to my somewhat eclectic taste in decorating, it's cottage style.

I was always excited when I found the latest issue in my mailbox, and would always read it cover to cover.

It'll be hard not to have the luxury of enjoying one of my favorite home decor magazines. I'm being switched to Southern Living for the remainder of my subscription, but it's not the same.

Very, very sad.

:(

i'm sorry. i would hate it if one of my fave magazines stopped being printed. you'll just have to bring us all the great things Cottage Living did, miss Reverie!

it can be your next blog. :)
and you'd be great at it!

Boo-urns to this! I'm so disheartened by everything happening in the publishing industry at the moment. magazines are my LIFEBLOOD! i remember when martha stewart's 'blueprint' magazine folded. i was totally bummed.

i agree with georgia and nominate you to be the NEW cottage living!

southern living is not the same thing at all - have you checked out veranda? did you know southern living kitcens are here? I've thought about trying to be a food stylist there. there are some great recipes in SL though.

have you tried Veranda, Southern Accents, or Coastal Living?
