A sweet surprise—Lomography Diana+ Camera

I got this Diana+ camera from Sam and Mani at the August/September birthday party yesterday. I was so psyched when I unwrapped it, I almost jumped out of my seat. What a cool gift! I just have to go get some 120 film and I'm ready to go. The resulting images remind me of the effects some people have been getting with viewfinder cameras (like my Kodak Duaflex II) but it uses film. Can't wait to start using it!

Have you ever used one of these? If so, what did you think?

Oooh! I'm jealous! I've been coveting one for a while...they take such amazing-looking photos...all mysterious and otherworldly.

Can't wait for you to post your first pics! Do you know yet what your subject is going to be?

I've never heard of that kind of camera before, but that photo you have as an example is very cool. Love that effect. I can't wait to see the pics you take with it!

I'm not sure yet, but knowing me, it'll be of either pets, flowers, the outdoors, or people. Something soft and dreamy, if I can get the hang of it. It's been so long since I used film (4-5 years). I hope it goes well! And I can only hope to achieve such cool results as what I've seen so far.
