When Izzy and I were cleaning the closet yesterday, I found these lovely pink satin heels among my collection. I had forgotten about them amid the mess and chaos, and I eagerly took them out of their crushed box and tried them on. (When the box was delivered last year from ASOS {in Britain}, it looked like someone had drop kicked it all the way across the Atlantic.) Izzy and I decided to put them in a new box (sans lid) once I was done playing with them.
Later, I took them out to model them, as did Izzy. When we were done doing our fashion parade, I decided to get out my camera. Izzy lay a silky pink scarf on the bed, which was the perfect backdrop for the vibrant pink shoes, and I put the shoes down and started snapping away. I got carried away for a while, and I think Izzy was glad when I finally stopped, but it was kinda fun.
They're not the greatest pictures, but I definitely enjoyed goofing around with my camera and the pretty shoes. I like how abstract and glamorous and luxurious the images look, even if you can't always tell what the subject matter is. I think my favorite one is the last one, with the shot of the bow and heel.

Me too. They are perhaps a little too extravagantly styled, but very cool because of that reason :)
