Dreaming of 2009...what about YOU?

Little Rosie, dreaming peacefully in my lap...

What are your hopes, dreams, aspirations, and notions for 2009? What are you looking forward to? What do you want to leave behind in 2008? What is something new that you'd like to try, do, experience, feel, see? Where do you see yourself a year from now?

I'm curious to hear from you all. I've been seeing some very inspirational quotes, thoughts, insights, and images from all over the blogosphere, and I must say they've made quite an impact on me in just the past few hours.

So what about you?

I'm normally not a resolution type person, but trying to be this year - just to get myself together and do things better this year. Here's to a Happy New Year!!

I just want to do something larger than myself next year.
and to stay calm and positive where there feels like there is none. and to not procrastinate about doing my taxes, the one thing I always procrastinate about (just ask my 2007 taxes). and to practice compassion always. (oh! and also to exercise more, read more and eat good whole organic foods as much as humanly possible!)
ok--wow thanks...that was pretty therapeutic. i think i can manage most of that stuff, but i'm not so sure about the tax think :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR CHRIS!

I hear ya both! It's all about being happier, healthier, and trying to help those around us, too, isn't it? :)

I dream of:
a new job
a new place where I'm "at home"
setting up an etsy shop
finding peace within myself again

Good ridden 2008! Happy New Year to you! Thank you for the camera help. To think the pictures in my shop are from my old camera, I can't wait to see what my new camera brings!

I have so many things I am hoping for this year...most importantly good health for everyone in my family. When I look back on everything this past year that has gone wrong and most of it had to do with health.

Oh and I'll be selfish and say a new fabulous job, a hot man, good health, calmness, happiness, love, wonderful friends, family and MONEY! :)

ooooh . . . great questions!

i hope in a year that i am doing something creative and doing it for myself—not a corporation. this is my biggest goal.

i feel i have already left behind things i need to over the past year—television, hurt, regret, insecurity about my ability to design, health problems. they may all arise again in the future, but they have been left behind prior to going into 2009. i am glad, because this leaves me ready and raring to go with my vision for this year. the only thing is see me needing to leave behind is Anthology. and they may just take care of that for me. :)

what a peaceful and precious picture of Rosie. :)
