Toasty warm coats from Target

I think I'm loving these bold and colorful coats from Target this season. Swingy shapes and mod detailing like big buttons and upturned collars give the collection a young and playful look. Now that we have officially had snow flurries in the Chicago area (say it ain't so!), my thoughts turn to something warm and functional, yet stylish and fun. I like the vivid colors and flattering cuts, and the prices are pretty reasonable, too. Now I just have to work up the nerve to dash outside in the cold to go coat shopping at Target!

the pink and the beige catch my eye as usual. the placing of the buttons on the beige one are especially eye catching.

I can't believe these gorgeous coats are from Target! I love the camel colored one the most!

There are some amazing details on these! Like the asymmetrical closure on the grey one, and the three-quarter length sleeves on the pink one---hmmm...perfect for wearing with elbow length gloves!

And yes yes yes to your idea of turning the frozen cheesecake balls into ornaments and snowmen for Christmas! The recipe technically wasn't for Halloween at all, I'm just obsessed with turning everything into a halloween theme right now! The original recipe had them rolled in toasted nuts, which would also be awesome for any time...like breakfast?

Oooh! I love each and every one! I love coats. Almost as much as I love shoes and hand bags. Almost.

I like the coat and gloves suggestion! Georgia tells me they have 3/4-length gloves at Target. Gotta check those babies out!
