Manhandling my "Life"

Umm, I know you have a lot of mail to deliver, Mr. Postman. And I know that my print came in a cardboard mailer which didn't specify any particular handling instructions. But can you NOT literally fold my print in HALF and shove it in my mailbox? Perhaps walking it to my front door and leaving it at my doorstep, crease-free, is the way to go, eh? It was a lucky thing I heard you pull up and deliver my mail, or that print would have been sitting in my mailbox all day, bent and misshapen. How could you harm such a lovely image? Grrrrr!!!

Okay, I've said my peace.

Plant Ferry's Seeds

A pretty alternative to the Vintage Hawaiian Prints that I really, really like. Love the colors in this one.

Vintage Hawaii

I'm salivating over this poster (in 24" x 36", please) but the slightly steep price (sans frame) is keeping me from buying it. I know exactly where to put it because I've been waiting to find just the right poster/print for a certain wall in my house. I want a vintage Hawaii travel poster to commemorate our honeymoon and all the memories from that time. I love the bold, graphic looks of vintage posters, and they're relatively affordable. But I haven't yet clicked on the "purchase" button yet.

I also like this kitschy poster from the late 40s, but it's a bit smaller.

There are lots of other cool vintage Hawaii posters to choose from online, it's just a matter of picking the right print and the right price.

"Chicago Transit" by Arthur Johnson

I'm dying to get this vintage print entitled "Chicago Transit" by Arthur Johnson. When I saw it hanging up at work last year, it was love at first sight. I think I'll display it in my kitchen or hallway, once the house is done.
