I was watching Ellen this week and there was this guy on there. He was a newcaster in Denver for like 20 years and got fired because a new company took over the station. He went from 6 figures to 35K a year and is so happy. He took the severance package and went back to school to be a vet tech because he loved animals. He followed his passion in the point of the post. He's happier than he's been in a long time. You never know what doors and windows will open for you. I am holding on to this thought too. That man really inspired me.
I am an illustrator, designer, photographer, and proofreader who lives happily with two dogs, two cats, one husband, and one baby boy in a humble little house in the suburbs.
My reverie is all about the pretty, unique, interesting, gorgeous, hilarious, creative, fascinating, amazing, inspirational, stylish, organized, happy, natural, technical, lovely, incredible, frilly, thought-provoking, and fun things in life.
It is a sunny day And the walls in here are gray I cannot bear to miss A day as fine as this My thoughts do tend to wander As I grow so ever fonder Of the endless skies of blue Over trees of emerald hue And the birds that sing so fair While the breeze toussles my hair And the grass beneath my feet With flowers that smell so sweet So if you wouldn't mind And tend to think in kind May we venture out the door To enjoy the day once more?
